“BOXING DAY, BROTHER MINE”

Sherlock threw the least offensive of the carriage rugs over my shoulders, pinned it with a tarnished rose broach, and crowned me with what looked like one of Doctor Watson’s old, discarded caps. Then he put his arm through mine, and we entered the Alpha Inn as extremely disreputable brothers together.

Another author milestone came in today’s mail. My author’s edition of The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories part XLIII. The 2024 Annual. Find my story “BOXING DAY, BROTHER MINE,” on page 360. It is my first Holmes Brothers adventure and I’m celebrating!

This series is edited and compiled by David Marcum. All royalties from this collection are donated by the authors for the benefit of the restoration and preservation of Undershaw, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s former home in Hindhead, Surrey, UK.

While the Doyle family lived at Undershaw, Sir Arthur created the stories that brought Sherlock Holmes back to life. Among them, The Hound Of The Baskervilles and The Return of Sherlock Holmes series of stories, led by “The Empty House.” Since 2015 over $120,000. has been raised by the authors who gifted their stories to these volumes, now numbering 45 volumes. I became the 201st author to contribute a new Sherlock Holmes story, joining the 920 stories written so far for the series.

The volume was published on Conan Doyle’s 165th birthday, May 22, 2024.

“BOXING DAY, BROTHER MINE” has recently been made available in my Sherlock Holmes Far And Wide storybook. Also, available as an audiobook.
